After the official announcement of HTC Salsa at Mobile World Congress, the Taiwanese Mobile Phone Manufacturer Company has come up with another Facebook phone, HTC Chacha. HTC Chacha is unique designed phone.

It is a 2.6-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen phone with QWERTY keypad and slim in size. Though the screen display is smaller than Salsa’s 3.4-inch, but the resolution is as clear as in the other phones. The icons are crystal clear like menu, home, back and search along with call keys placed in middle. Volume adjuster and USB port on its right with power button and3.5mm Headphone Jack on the upper edge. Numbers are grouped together alike other HTC phones along with symbols. It has a loudspeaker and hands free also. Battery works for 420 minutes on WCDMA talk time and 660 hours on WCDMA standby.

The device has 5-megapixel camera and a VGA front facing webcam. As far as connectivity is concerned, it has WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 in addition to dualband 900/2100MHz HSPA/WCDMA and quadband GSM/EDGE.

Applications like Gmail access, Google Maps are directly installed. But the drawback is the screen display, as it becomes difficult to read the Facebook contents. Still we can easily read the updates and with the help of the keypad and the shortcuts we can post and share on Facebook and Twitter easily.
