Flagship Xioami Mi Note 2 has an interesting sandwich-construction — 3D glass on the front and at the back is curved symmetrically to the sides where a metal frame runs. The front side hosts a speaker and a selfie camera. The back side holds the main camera module, dual LED-flash, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Mi Note 2 also features SIM-card slot and USB Type-C port.
Mi Note 2 is available in 2 colors: Piano Black (deep black) and Glacier Silver (blue-gray).
A big, qualitative screen has always been a standout area for Xiaomi. Mi Note 2 is spiced up with bendable AMOLED-display with a Full HD resolution and Force Touch technology. Screen to body ratio is 77.2 %. The display has an impressive contrast of 100000 : 1 and NTSC 110 percent, which allows getting a better color reproduction.
The real interesting part comes when looking under the hood. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 uses the fastest current Qualcomm processor — Snapdragon 821 with max. tactical frequency 2.35 GHz paired with Adreno 530 graphical processor. It responds quickly, does not overheat if “piled up with work” and allows to run several apps at a time. Tech geeks would especially appreciate a 6 GB / 128GB version.
Xiaomi is heralded as far as the cameras are concerned. Mi Note 2 features a whopping 22.56 MP camera with Sony IMX318 sensor and f / 2.0 aperture. Such assembly makes shooting pictures and videos a blast and delivers crisp images in zoom. 3-axis stabilization system provides a seamless and smooth picture in 4K. 8 MP front shooter has autofocus and supports Beautify 3.0 image editor.
This is where serious business gets done. Phone memory was expanded to 4 GB and 6 GB LPDDR4 type allowing to operate several tasks simultaneously even faster and store more apps running in the background. Open multiple browser tabs or “heavy” web pages, watch 4K videos, chat — all at once!
